Looking for reliable full-time work with great pay and long-term potential?
We’re hiring Production, Curing, and Despatch Operatives to join a busy, modern bacon factory near Bury St Edmunds (IP28). Whether you’ve got experience or you’re just getting started, full training is provided – all you need is a good attitude and the willingness to work.

Available Roles:
1. Food Production Operative
2. Curing Department Operative
3. Despatch Operative

Job Details:
Location: Near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk – IP28
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing work with potential for permanent roles
Start Date: Immediate
Shifts:
AM: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30
PM: Monday to Friday, 14:30 – 23:00
(Guaranteed 40 hours/week – no rotation between shifts)
Pay Rates:
Food Production Operative: from £12.36/hour basic | £18.54/hour overtime
Curing Operative: £12.89/hour basic | £19.34/hour overtime
Despatch Operative: £13.31/hour basic | £19.97/hour overtime

What You’ll Be Doing:
Production Department:
• Slicing, packing, labelling and quality-checking bacon products
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Following food hygiene and safety standards

Curing Department:
• Handling and preparing large cuts of meat for curing
• Hanging and salting products
• Using curing equipment and machinery
• Heavy lifting involved

Despatch Department:
• Packing and wrapping finished products
• Preparing pallets for delivery
• Working in chilled conditions
• Manual handling of goods

What We’re Looking For:
• No previous experience required – full training provided
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, punctual and a team player
• Able to commit to full-time hours
• Own transport essential (site not accessible by public transport)
