Summary
Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking for weekend work?
We are looking for experienced, professional care assistants who are wanting to have that ideal work to home balance by working weekends, who live in the Nottingham, NG14 area.
As part of a professional, successful team, you will be working in one of our client's care home environments supporting residents with dementia and other age-related issues.
You will provide individuals both with physical and mental support with their day-to-day activities, providing high levels of care as part of their daily routines.
You will be expected to work alongside the friendly, established team of Carers and Nurses assisting them with the smooth running of the care home.
Additional duties may include: -
• Personal Care
• Housekeeping duties
• Completion of paperwork
• Assisting with feeding, dressing, bathing.
• Supporting the individuals with their emotional and physical needs
• Providing companionship and being a friend.

To be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following: -
• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.
This role is an ongoing opportunity.
Your typical hours will start at 07.00. and finish at 14.00, Monday to Friday, or you could choose to work from 14.00 and finish at 22.00, the choice is yours.
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, plus up to 28 days accrued holiday pay.
