Summary
Job description Job responsibilities Under line management and clinical supervision from within the Early Intervention Team, the post holder will maintain and co-ordinate timely and appropriate interventions and assessment for a caseload of service users living in the community within the framework of CPA and in line with the relevant clinical pathways i.e.) as outlined within the EIT operational procedure. This includes respecting individuality, values, culture and religious diversity of clients and colleagues and thus contributing to the provision of a service sensitive to these needs. The post holder will be required to work the core hours of 9am 5pm, Mon-Fri. Willing to accept 30hrs 4days, or condensed hours 37.5 over 4 days. Person Specification Qualifications/ Education Essential Core professional Qualification i.e nursing/social worker/occupational therapist Desirable Experience of supervising students in relevant field Evidence of continued professional development Experience Essential Knowledge of requirements under The Care Programme Approach and Risk Management Understand the importance and need to safeguard children and vulnerable adults. Ability to engage with supervision - clinical and managerial. Desirable Ability to conduct first line assessments for individuals newly referred in to secondary mental health services, utilising a biopsychosocial framework Experience of working with children and adolescents with a mental illness Experience of working with individuals with Psychosis Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
