Summary
The Best Connection Reading are seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers - Ongoing Work
The Best Connection Reading are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing work with one of the UK's largest and most well-established distribution operations, based in Reading.
Pay Rates:
- AM Shifts (04:00-12:59) - £19.00 per hour
- PM Shifts (13:00-03:59) - £21.50 per hour
- Overtime (after 8 hours per day) - £23.75 per hour
- Saturday - £24.00 per hour
- Sunday - £28.50 per hour
- 6th Shift in a Week - £28.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- 2 to 3 store deliveries per shift
- Accurate completion of relevant paperwork
- Clear communication with the on-site transport team
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
