Your new role
This company is open to varying levels of applicant, from graduate to intermediate level, with salaries offered depending on experience.Work from the Hampshire or Bournemouth office for 3 days a week, working from home 2 days a week.You will support the development and delivery of sustainability strategies across a range of projects.
Main duties could include…
- Undertake overheating calculations
- Support with energy & sustainability statements, BREEAM and whole life carbon projects
- Assist in developing and implementing sustainability strategies using tools such as Elmhurst, IES, and OneClick
- Attend client meetings, workshops, and project engagements
- Mentor and advise colleagues in relation to low carbon assessment tools such as SAP, SBEM, and IES modelling
- Prepare sustainability reports and communication materials
- Attend seminars and training to enhance your expertise
- Report to senior staff to support project delivery
- Conduct research on sustainability trends and legislation
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in a relevant field including environmental science or the built environment
- Experience in a sustainability-related role (preferably building physics)
- Familiarity with SAP, SBEM or other sustainability services in the built environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of IES modelling (ideal)
