Summary

WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR

Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Warehouse Administrator to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in East Leake.

ROLE: Warehouse Administrator

PAY RATE: £13.06 p/h, circa £27,000 per annum

JOB TYPE: Temp to perm

LOCATION: East Leake (LE12)

HOURS: Full time, 8am - 16:30 Monday - Friday, 30 min lunch, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, office based.

THE ROLE:

  • Order stock based on customer requirements and inventory levels.
  • Conduct high-quality stock cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Expediting orders - ensuring our suppliers stick to their quoted delivery dates.
  • Negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to time lines.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory movements in relevant systems.
  • Respond promptly to customer and supplier enquiries with clear and concise communication.
  • Supporting the Customer Operations Manager in sourcing activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and the customer's engineering and procurement teams.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by adhering to and enforcing HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Identify, report, and act on hazards, taking immediate corrective actions when necessary.



THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing operational or administrative role
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP systems
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Relationship building
  • Problem solving
  • Experience in the MRO, engineering, or supply chain sectors is desirable.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes is desirable.
  • A basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles is desirable.
  • An interest in mechanical/electrical engineering or understanding of engineering components is desirable.
