An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated radiographer to complement our friendly, social, and dynamic Radiology team here at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to further your clinical experience within the field of MSK imaging.
We are a busy orthopaedic radiology department carrying out all types of general and specialist examinations. All radiographers rotate to general x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres. This band 6 post will also involve training in DDH ultrasound and specialist research examinations. The band 6 radiographers also take a lead role within designated areas of the department and act as Duty Radiographer. Participation in our on-call rota for evenings and weekends is required.

As a senior radiographer, this role involves assisting the department superintendents with the supervision of staff and students, providing training, and you will encourage the highest professional and technical standards in all staff by personal example and constructive supervision.
This is an opportunity to gain the highest standards of orthopaedic radiography and to develop your career within our supportive and friendly department.
You should hold the appropriate BSc qualifications and experience in orthopaedic radiography. In addition, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative and as a member of a team.
