We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a Recycling Assistant, on a 5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.85 - £15.53 per hour
Responsibilities:
Assist customers in correctly disposing of household waste and recyclable materials
Monitor waste streams and ensure materials are sorted appropriately
Maintain cleanliness and order across the site
Follow all health and safety guidelines while on duty
Report any incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs to site supervisors
Requirements:
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Friendly and confident in engaging with members of the public
Physically fit and capable of manual work
Team player with a proactive attitude

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
