Summary

The team you'll be working with:
Power Systems Design engineer – Substation Design and Protection Design​

You will be joining NTT Data UK and Ireland Power Engineering division. You will be driving the UK's transition to a modern power grid by accelerating connections analysis, new connections design, new power infrastructure projects design and new energy generation and storage projects design.

What experience you'll bring:
Experience in design of power distribution and transmission infrastructure​
Experience in power Protection systems design and testing​
Experience in Power systems analysis – Load Flow, Thermal constraint and Voltage analysis​
Understanding of power systems electrical equipment – Switchgear, Substation equipment, Overhead cables​
Specific experience in substation design up to UK Grid Supply Point (GSP) level – 132KV
Experience in Protection relay settings
Experience with Real Time Systems in a Power Distribution context
Experience in physical implementation of connections and reinforcement​
Familiarity with network planning applications such as DigSilent Powerfactory​, Protection Design toolsets and Substation design toolsets
Capability and experience in preparing technical reports​ in a UK context compliant with UK Grid codes for Power Distribution
A Masters degree or PhD in Power systems engineering is ideal. A bachelors degree in electrical engineering is acceptable,
