Do you want to do something a bit different?

We are looking for enthusiastic HCAs to join our team who work mainly in the community. The role involves visiting patients in their own home to help them set up their dialysis machines. A car is provided for the visits, and it is essential that you hold afull valid UK driving licence.

Working hours are 0730 – 1530 and occasional late shifts 1230 – 2000 and includes weekends and Bank Holidays.

You will part of a small team within Renal Services and full training will be given.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
1. Responsible for own actions, ensuring all patient interactions/observations are communicated to the appropriate healthcare practitioner.
2. Undertake visits to patients homes in order to set up dialysis machine
3. Undertake agreed clinical and non-clinical tasks, extending range following training in defined practices. Ensure referral to the appropriate healthcare practitioner where appropriate
4. Demonstrate technical and/or practical skills to ensure optimum patient management e.g cannulation/ECG where agreed
