Summary
Are you passionate about working with young children and ready to begin or grow your career in early years education? At Snapdragons Nursery, we’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and caring Early Years Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.
As a Lunchtime Assistant at Snapdragons Nursery, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the children and team during the busy midday period. Your responsibilities will include helping to set up and serve meals, encouraging independence and good table manners, and ensuring a safe, clean, and positive mealtime environment.
Beyond lunchtime, you’ll support the children with handwashing, toileting, and transitioning into rest or quiet activities. You’ll also have the opportunity to build positive relationships, play alongside the children, and support their social and emotional development through everyday interactions.
This is a rewarding, part-time role (11.00-15.00) ideal for someone caring, reliable, and passionate about early years—whether you’re just starting out or looking for a flexible way to be part of a nurturing and engaging setting

-Some experience in a childcare or school setting is a plus, but not essential
