Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Worker - Supporting Additional Learning Needs
Reading – Central Reading
Full Time – 35 Hours Per Week – School Hours
£14.00 to £14.50 per hour
We are recruiting for enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Workers to join our clients team in Reading. You’ll be working closely with students aged 16 and over, helping them thrive in their education and supporting their journey to independence and success.
What You'll Do:
• Provide in-class support to learners with a range of additional needs (e.g., autism, dyslexia, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory impairments).
• Offer 1:1 or small group assistance to individual learning plans.
• Help create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with tutors, support staff, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
We're Looking For:
• Experience in an educational or support role (formal qualifications are welcome but not essential).
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
• Patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
• A proactive and positive attitude – team players welcome!
