Job Purpose: The postholder will undertake and support activities and projects that contribute towards both the Council’s and the wider region’s transition towards net zero emissions, in accordance with relevant statutory requirements, as well as national and local policy. The post holder will have particular responsibility to provide expertise and support with respect to the administration of utility invoicing and the reporting and performance assessment of renewable energy generation.

Requirements

A minimum of one/two years’ experience in an equivalent or similar position and preferably experience within a local authority environment at a similar level to the role being offered.

Evidence of higher education or equivalent experience.

Evidence of a continuing commitment to personal development

Willing to be flexible about travel for work and training purposes
