Summary

As Head of Student Support and Success, you will provide operational and strategic oversight and direction for student support services, ensuring a holistic, inclusive, and proactive approach to student support and success. With students at the heart of our delivery, you will lead teams delivering high-quality advice, support and interventions across a range of services ensuring students receive the right support at the right time to overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

You will foster a creative, collaborative, responsible, and agile approach to service delivery, embedding inclusive and evidence-based practices that empower and enable students to progress through their studies and achieve their potential. You will champion partnership working, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance student engagement, continuation, and attainment. You will ensure all colleagues work in a collaborative, student-centred way to unpick and resolve complex and multi-issue challenges with students and colleagues across the university, ensuring students are informed and empowered to make the right decisions for themselves. You will have budget oversight for your area and ensure we work efficiently and use our resources responsibly. You will ensure we make effective use of technology and that our
policies and procedures are designed with students in mind. Your leadership will contribute to a university-wide culture of support, accessibility, and equity, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to thrive at university and beyond.
