Summary

Hours 15-20 hours per week evenings and every other weekend
Payrate £16 per hour for evenings and £19.50 per hour for weekends
Holiday 5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
Driving Licence Not necessary but preferred
DBS Check Yes - will be funded by the employer
A bit about me:
We are looking for a part time Personal Assistant to join our friendly happy team to look after our fun loving 31 year old son who has profound learning disabilities and epilepsy. He lives in his own home with 24 hour care with 2 carers at all times. He loves to go to hydro and swimming and enjoys trips out to sensory rooms, Longleat, local parks. cafes and cinema.
About the role:
• Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
• He will need someone to carry out all his personal care, including bathing, dressing, help with drinking and eating, cleaning his teeth and administering his medication.
• He needs kind attentive people in his team to keep him safe. Constant supervision is required
• He needs carers to help him have a fun and active life and who can be creative- coming up with plans and ideas he will enjoy.
