Are you a hands-on and driven Repairs Supervisor? We're looking for an experienced professional to lead our responsive repairs team in Camden, ensuring residents receive safe, timely, and effective property maintenance.

The Role

As a Repairs Supervisor, you'll take a lead role in managing day-to-day repair and maintenance operations across both occupied and void properties. You'll be responsible for coordinating a team of skilled operatives and external contractors, ensuring that all works are completed to a high standard, within budget, and on schedule.

You'll be the first point of technical escalation, oversee job scheduling, and play a key role in maintaining decent homes standards and improving tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring excellent service delivery and value for money

  • Allocate and oversee workloads of in-house operatives and approved contractors

  • Conduct quality control inspections of ongoing and completed works

  • Liaise with tenants and resolve repair-related issues quickly and professionally

  • Coordinate the timely turnaround of void properties, minimising void loss

  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, building codes, and internal policies

  • Track performance against KPIs and contribute to regular reporting for senior management

  • Provide technical advice and support to the repairs team as needed

  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records using housing and repairs management systems

  • Support procurement activities, contractor performance monitoring, and budget control

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within social housing or property maintenance

  • Solid knowledge of building trades, repair techniques, and relevant legislation

  • Demonstrable experience leading and motivating multi-trade teams and subcontractors

  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage complaints and resolve issues effectively

  • Competency with repairs or housing management software, MS Office, and mobile working tools

  • Full UK driving licence - Van and Fuel card provided

Desirable Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant trade or construction discipline

  • SMSTS, SSSTS, or similar health and safety qualifications
