Summary
Appletree House Care Home are looking for a cook/chef to prepare and cook homely, tasty meals for our 14 residents. We are a small and friendly care home who put the needs and wishes of our residents first. Working hours are 9am - 2pm, Monday to Friday. Come and join the team!
You will need to be an experienced cook, able to provide healthy, home-cooked meals to a very high standard.
Main Duties:
Prepare and serve two main meal options and dessert to be served at lunchtime. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in-line with infection control and health & safety standards.
To be aware of and cater for any special diets that are required. To liaise with the manager and assist in menu planning and ensuring that the kitchen is well stocked at all times.
