We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join our outstanding, inclusive careers team. Our school is a national leader in SEND careers provision and has achieved 100% across all Gatsby Benchmarks. We support students aged 11–19, with academic outcomes ranging from P Levels to grade 9 GCSEs, and who are on pathways into higher education, employment, supported internships, and independent living.

What You’ll Need
Essential
• Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development (or equivalent)
• Experience providing careers advice in a professional capacity
• Familiarity with Gatsby Benchmarks and statutory careers frameworks (including PAL)
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
• A full driving licence
Desirable
• Experience in a special school or SEND environment
• Understanding of the needs of students with SEND and how to tailor guidance
• Knowledge of progression routes for students with a wide range of abilities
• Knowledge of the local labour market
• Confidence in organising careers-related events and employer engagement
• Willingness to drive a school vehicle/minibus (training provided if required)
Contract: 32 hours per week, 40 weeks (term time, plus training days and an additional week)
Salary: Grade 9, point 19 - 22 depending on experience. Actual salary in the region of £23,591 - £25,276 (£31,074 - £33,294 full time equivalent per annum) subject to 25/26 pay award
