Summary

Job Title: Housekeeper

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours

Shifts: 8am - 4pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Location: Halstead, C09 2DW

At Sanctuary Lodge, we’re looking for a full-time Housekeeper to join our friendly, supportive team. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our centre clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents, helping them feel at home while they focus on their wellbeing.

What you’ll be doing:
Keeping our centre sparkling! You’ll clean communal areas, bedrooms, and prepare beds for new admissions
Sorting laundry and making sure linens and towels are fresh and ready
Following daily work schedules and using cleaning products safely and correctly
Wearing PPE and following all health & safety and infection control guidelines
Helping maintain a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff
What we’re looking for:
Essential:

Physically fit and happy with hands-on, manual work
A team player who can also work independently
Friendly and approachable with good communication skills
Organised, reliable, and self-motivated
Flexible and happy to adapt to changing priorities
Willing to complete any training needed
Desirable (but not a dealbreaker!):

Experience in a housekeeping or laundry role
Computer literate (Word, Excel)
Food hygiene or cleaning-related qualifications
