Summary
A lovely family in Leytonstone is looking for an active and fun-loving after-school nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child. Responsibilities include school pick-ups, driving the children (automatic car provided) to after-school activities, occasional babysitting, and preparing meals for the children. The family is seeking someone who can help establish and maintain a consistent daily routine at home. A valid First Aid qualification is essential, and they’re ideally looking for someone who can become a long-term part of the family.
Working hours: Monday and Tuesday, 2 pm to 7 pm Potentially every other Wednesday too (Flexibility for babysitting and more hours during the holiday)
Duties include:
Implementing consistent daily routines
Collecting the child from school (short drive away)
Escorting the child to after-school activities
Planning and supervising play dates
Organising trips to the park and engaging in active games during school holidays
Providing homework support
Ensuring school bags are packed and ready for the next day
Overseeing the evening routine when babysitting
Engaging the child in fun and enriching activities at home
Reading stories and encouraging a love of books
Building a strong, nurturing relationship with the child
Supporting bath time and bedtime routines
They need someone to start on the 1st day of September 2025.
