Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Salary: Competitive Salary £28,000 - £35,000 PA, Depending on Experience.
Location: Gainsborough DN21
About The Role:
The company is a leading UK manufacturer of assistive technology and industrial input devices. They are looking for a dependable and detail-focused Production Operator to join their small, friendly team in Gainsborough.
The role is primarily focused on hands-on work in soldering and final product assembly, with occasional light packing duties. You’ll be responsible for following detailed production instructions and helping ensure every product meets their high standards for quality and reliability.
Responsibilities Include:
• Perform through-hole and surface mount soldering (training provided if needed)
• Assemble products using detailed drawings and build instructions
• Ensure all steps in the production process are completed to spec
• Accurately complete production documentation and quality checks
• Maintain a tidy and well-organised workstation
• Occasionally assist with light packing tasks when required
• Operating machinery related to the manufacturing process
Candidate Requirements:
• A methodical, detail-oriented approach to production work
• Ability to follow written and visual assembly instructions precisely
• Hands-on experience with assembly or soldering (preferred but not essential)
• Reliable and committed, with good timekeeping and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in a small team environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes
