Summary

English Tutor - Alternative Provision
Location: Nottingham (NG2)
Hours: Flexible - full-time or part-time options available (09:00am - 15:00pm)
Pay: £520 - £540 take home pay per week (based on full-time hours)
Duration: Long-term with potential for a permanent role

About the Role
Long Term Futures are seeking a committed and adaptable English Tutor to join a well-regarded alternative provision in the heart of Nottingham. The setting supports students aged 11-16 through a tailored curriculum that combines core academics with practical, vocational learning.

You will work one-to-one with learners to support their English development, while also nurturing their personal, emotional, and social growth in a safe and structured environment.

This is a great opportunity if you're looking to step away from a traditional classroom setting but still want to have a meaningful impact on students' lives. The role offers a rewarding, low-pressure teaching experience with the backing of a collaborative and understanding team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver one-to-one English tuition to secondary-aged students
