Summary
Sewing Machinists required, we are looking for experienced sewing machinists to join a manufacturing business based in central Wakefield.
Duties
Operate overlock and flatbed sewing machines.
Check products meeting the quality required
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Industrial sewing Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing / textile / fashion environment.
Ability to hand sew is considered an advantage, as it may be relevant for specific projects.
Experience working in a warehouse setting is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to maintaining safety standards within the workplace.
Hours
0600 - 1500 Monday to Friday
A skills test will form part of the interview process.
