Summary
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity and performance
2. Maintain training at the level required to comply with the Health and safety recommendations and any additional standards set by the High Life Highland
3. Undertake all health and safety checks and responsibilities as delegated by the Facility Manager
4. Set up and dismantle equipment
5. Carry out cleaning of all areas to a high standard
6. Carry out routine maintenance of equipment and fittings
7. Liaise with users, other staff and the Board Members
8. Check for cleanliness and safety on a regular basis and ensure safe method of work are achieved
9. Update yourself regularly on all written operating procedures and carry out accordingly
10. Bring to the attention of the Facility Manager any improvement that might increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the centre
11. Open and close the building
12. Be responsible for the security of the building including the fire, burglar alarms and key holder responsibilities
13. Taking booking and checking the booking system daily
14. The reception of visitors and liaise with the general public
15. Basic cash handling and receiving of payment
16. Ordering of cleaning materials
17. Responsible for checking stock levels
18. Checking of deliveries to the facility
19. Answering all public enquires in person or by telephone
20. Supervision of Facility users
21. Ensuring cleanliness of area outside the facility
22. Pursue continuous professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of Highland Football Academy and High Life Highland as a whole
23. Attend and undertake any training online or in person
24. Aim to reduce wastage and uphold our environmental values of being as sustainable as possible in all tasks
25. Assist and support other areas of High Life Highland with particular projects, training or in the event of holidays or sickness working cross-functionally across the Highland Football Academy team
