Summary
To lead the training and development of the management accountant of the Division ensuring that work is delivered in a professional and timely manner. To provide accurate and timely management information by the production of integrated financial and activity reports. To be a proactive and dynamic member of the Finance team, giving financial advice, support and guidance to the operational teams within the Division. To ensure accurate and timely key output documentation is produced and distributed appropriately to budget holders, including budget statements and detailed Divisional reports. To support progress on the development of robust and meaningful integrated financial / activity information Proactively investigate variances and provide analytical reports on areas specifically requested by the Finance Manager or budget holder. Pro-actively monitor performance, identifying trends and the financial implications of management decisions. To ensure that regular meetings with budget holders are undertaken and to deputise as necessary for the Finance Manager at Divisional Management meetings.
