Summary


Case Loading Team Leader (Ivy Midwives)

Band 7 Team Leader

37.5 Hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead & provide a full maternity care pathway to a caseload of women and their families who have social complexities and vulnerability factors. The post-holder will have a dedicated case load alongside the coordination of the wider team. The case loading model will include continuity of carer during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period, with the ultimate aim of improving outcomes for women and their babies. In addition, meet the key performance indicators both locally and nationally.

The Band 7 midwife has continuing responsibility for the management of the case loading team and services in her area or equivalent sphere of midwifery practice. This includes assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting of standards.

This is a substantive (permanent) position.

You will work closely with the Matron for community services and Consultant midwife for Public Health.

The Band 7 midwife has continuing responsibility for the management of the case loading

In Oxfordshire, we offer a distinctive model of maternity care, supporting the birth of approximately 7,500 babies each year.

Care from our community midwives is delivered in a range of settings, including Midwifery-Led Units, GP surgeries, and community clinics. The role also includes participation in on-call services for Midwifery-Led Unit and home births.
