Summary
We would welcome applications from individuals who are keen to learn new skills and develop their knowledge. Previous experience of working with children and young people with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities is desirable, but not essential. This is an excellent development opportunity for an experienced support worker or a current assistant practitioner who would like to gain further experience and develop their skills and knowledge of speech and language therapy. Lotus ward is situated at Acklam Road Hospital, Middlesborough and Ferndene is situated in Prudhoe, Northumberland. Either site can be agreed as your main base however you will need to be willing to travel to both sites during the working week.
