Job Summary
The Bible College of Wales is a project under Cornerstone Community Church Wales based in Swansea, Wales. The Cornerstone Community Church Wales is an independent church with headquarters in Singapore, Cornerstone Community Church.
The role of the Pastoral Worker is to assist and support Pastors and Directors in fulfilling the vision of Cornerstone Community Church Wales and The Pisgah Chapel.
Duties and responsibilities:
Prayer (Cornerstone Community Church Wales) Ministry
• Assist with the prayer ministry at The Bible College of Wales and Pisgah Chapel.
• Stay connected to the local districts and prayer requests.
• Active involvement in evangelism – reaching out actively to the community etc.
• Assist in weekend services and when assigned including preparation and delivery of sermons.
• Connect with local ministers to speak at the chapel service under the guidance of the Director(s).
• Assist in Home Group meeting.
School of Ministry (SOM)
• Assist in Pastoral Care & Student Development.
• Assist with the administrative work.
• Assist in classroom management.
• Assist in SOM housekeeping matters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Candidate must be a born-again, spirit-filled Christian, exhibiting a strong foundation in faith.
• Relevant experience in prayer and intercession in relation to the vision of The Bible College of Wales.
• Candidate must exhibit the traits of dependability, responsibility and is self-motivated.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Computer skills is a distinctive advantage.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
• Possess organisational abilities to coordinate and organise events and prayer meetings.
• Must be a strong team player.
Gross basic salary for this role is £26,000 per annum.
