Interviews for this role will be conducted in person to assess relevant skills effectively.
As a Therapy Assistant Practitioner, you will manage a caseload of non-complex patients, providing assessments and treatments based on protocols and competencies. You'll work under the guidance of registered therapists and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support timely patient discharge. Your role includes enabling patients and their families to achieve rehabilitation goals through treatment programs developed by Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
You'll also be involved in mentoring junior therapy assistants, participating in in-service training, and supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-focused care, including participation in a 7-day service as required.
