We’re on the lookout for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join a well-established team in Coalville, LE67. This is a great opportunity for drivers who are looking for ongoing, consistent work with a reliable employer. With both day and night shifts available, we’ve got something to suit your schedule – whether you prefer to get up with the sun or make the most of the quiet roads at night.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivering essential cardboard products across the region to various businesses, ensuring that they stay stocked and operations run smoothly. (It may sound simple, but it's crucial work!)
Maintaining a focus on safety by conducting daily vehicle checks, ensuring your truck stays in top condition, and following all safety regulations. Our trucks are modern and well-maintained – we take pride in them, and so should you.
Managing paperwork and ensuring accurate records are kept for all deliveries. You’ll stay in regular communication with our transport team to ensure everything runs on schedule. Efficient communication is key to keeping things moving smoothly.
Staying professional while on the road. You’ll be representing our client, so we expect our drivers to uphold high standards at all times.
Shift Details:
Day Shifts: Start between 04:00 and 07:00 – perfect for early risers who enjoy a quiet drive before the day picks up.
Night Shifts: Start between 17:00 and 22:00 – ideal for night owls or those who prefer to work when the roads are less busy.

Pay Rates:
Day Shifts (Monday to Friday):
PAYE: £16.51 per hour
PAYE Umbrella: £21.00 per hour
Night Shifts (Monday to Friday):
PAYE: £17.78 per hour
PAYE Umbrella: £23.00 per hour
What We’re Looking For:
A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 12 months’ experience. (We want you to be confident on the road and with your vehicle.)
A valid CPC card and digital tachograph – these are a must for keeping everything above board and following regulations.
A clean driving record, with no more than 6 points on your licence for minor convictions. (Safety and reliability are our priorities!)
A reliable, professional attitude. We’re looking for drivers who take pride in their work and are committed to getting the job done right.
