Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, committed Care Assistants to join a Nottingham care home set in lovely surroundings, who live in the NG11 area, who are looking for nighttime work.
This role is supporting residents suffering with dementia and other age-related illnesses with their nightly routines.
As a Care Assistant, you will work as part of a professional, friendly team encouraging residents to remain as independent as possible, providing support for their emotional and physical needs and being their companion.
You will ensure every resident’s physical and psychological wellbeing is at the centre of your priorities.
Additional responsibilities could include: -
• domestic tasks.
• adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the individuals
• Helping with the residents’ nightly routines
• Personal Care
• Assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Supporting residents’ wellbeing and emotional needs
If you are an effective team player, compassionate and have a positive attitude, then we want to hear from you.
To be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following: -
• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.
This is an ongoing position.
Your typical hours will start at 22.00. and finish at 07.00 the next morning, Monday to Friday
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour
