Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a full-time Health Care Support Worker to join a Primary Care Network (PCN) team.
The role involves supporting clinical staff with routine tasks such as phlebotomy, blood pressure checks, ECGs, NHS Health Checks, wound care, vaccinations (once trained), and chronic disease monitoring. You will assist in clinics, maintain patient records using EMIS, manage stock levels, and support audit and recall systems.
Key requirements include having completed the Care Certificate or equivalent, working at Support Worker Level Practice, and recent experience in phlebotomy and primary care or community healthcare. Strong communication and IT skills are essential, along with experience in health promotion and supporting long-term conditions. It is desirable to have training in IM medication administration and proficiency using EMIS.
You will need to hold a full driving license and have access to your own transport
