Summary

Permanent | 32.5 hours per week | Term Time Only (39 weeks per year) Ellesmere College is seeking a reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in a cover capacity. This role involves working across all age ranges and departments, providing support in the absence of class teachers. The successful candidate will be required to travel between our two current sites – Aylestone Meadows and Knighton Fields Centre – and eventually our new Post-16 site.What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has a great sense of humour and a positive attitude Demonstrates excellent attendance and punctuality Is flexible and able to adapt to different classroom environments Works effectively as part of a busy and supportive team Possesses strong skills in supporting learning, personal, and social development Has excellent organisational skills and can manage priorities effectively Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing Holds a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
