Senior Accounts Assistant


Location: Huddersfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Search are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Assistant to join a fast paced finance team in Huddersfield. This is a full-time, on-site role, varied role. This will be a temporary contract for 3 month for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks including credit control and purchase ledger
  • Assist with month-end procedures and financial reporting
  • Use Sage 50 for accounting and reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable but not essential
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
  • Proficient in Sage 50
  • Strong understanding of payroll, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping
  • Experience in credit control and purchase ledger management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
