Summary

You will need to demonstrate confidence in following Safeguarding referralprocesses where required and also working alongside external partners including JPUH, Police, NSFT inpatient and community teams, NCC,NNUH, QEH, Wellbeing, MIND and others to establish robust care packages for our patients. The Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) is a Core 24 liaison team that aspires to clinical, teaching and research excellence. We are a dynamic,rapidly developing and evolving service covering service users aged 16 and over in a 500-bed busy general hospital. The MHLT is the interface between physical and mental health working within the James Paget University Hospital (JPUH) and the wider NSFT.Our multidisciplinary team is made up of a wide range of professional expertise and skills with a vigorous culture of collaborative working. Thisprovides robust support in decision making; internal education and training; and assistance in your professional development.
