Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting exceptional patient care? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Band 4 professional to join our NHS team, supporting our Site Co-Ordinator and Assistant Director in the delivery of high-quality, timely, and safe care.
Salary : £13.57 per hour
Location : Ulster Hospital - Dundonald

What You'll Do:

  • Be an essential team player: Support senior staff in coordinating the delivery of outstanding care across the hospital.
  • Lead on communication: Attend Control Room meetings, take detailed notes, ensure actions are tracked, and share updates with Service Leads.
  • Real-time data management: Use Encompass and Microsoft tools to update and communicate vital data to relevant staff efficiently.
  • Drive performance: Proactively follow up on actions, monitor mailboxes, and maintain a clear overview of hospital activity from admission to discharge, anticipating and addressing delays.
  • Keep everyone informed: Prepare documentation and reports, update Control Room whiteboards, and maintain comprehensive records of repatriations and transfers.
  • Champion information flow: Liaise with the Discharge Hub, provide timely responses to queries, and manage both electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Effective escalation: Highlight and escalate important issues, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident user of NHS digital systems including Encompass and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with a professional manner.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
