Join the Team at Glasgow Airport - General Operatives Wanted
Location: Glasgow Airport
Contract Duration: Now until October
Shifts: 5 Days Between Monday-Sunday | 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:00pm, or 9:00am-5:30pm
The Best Connection Scotland is proud to be working alongside a leading aviation client based at Glasgow Airport. We are currently recruiting General Operatives to join their dynamic team. If you're looking for practical, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restocking of stock
- Checking stock for damage
- Receiving goods into the warehouse
- Picking and packing orders
- Handling pre-packed food goods
- Operating in the tray wash area
- Assisting with food preparation
What We're Looking For:
- Comfortable working with pork, alcohol, and tobacco products
- Able to stand for long periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment
- Good basic English and numeracy skills
- Fully flexible availability for shifts
Aviation Compliance Requirements:
- Due to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, applicants must:
- Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us)
- Provide a full 5-year checkable history (We will assist with this)
- Have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
- Be able to provide a complete 5-year address history
- Hold a valid in-date Photo ID (e.g. Passport, Driving Licence, ID car
