Summary
The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Washington, who are a large and well-established haulage company.
Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for Class 1 Night Drivers.
The start times do vary pending destination however, this tends to be between 2300 and 0100 starts.
In this role you will be doing:
- A to B trunking
- Trailer swaps
- Pre-loaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
- Strapping the load
- No handball involved
The candidate:
- Full, Class CE UK Driving Licence
- CPC Driver Qualification Card
- Digi-Card Required
- 2 year driving experience due to insurances
This is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rates:
- Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Saturday £17.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Optional nights out, paid at £25.00
