Summary

Permanent, part time, 30 hours per week.

Adult Care are looking to recruit an individual with a passion for engaging with people to help us capture the voice of our customers.

As Co Production Lead, the post holder will be the strategic lead for service user Involvement across Adult Social Care.

The Co Production Lead will work individually, as part of a team and in partnership with both internal and external staff.

The role will involve engaging with people with lived experience, community groups, RASCAL (Rotherham Adult Social Care Always Listening) and other partners to network and arrange meetings to generate new and on-going involvement activity.

Key Duties/ Areas of Responsibility

Ensure ASC involvement makes a difference, that we adhere to our Involvement framework and support the delivery of our strategic aims in relation to co production and service user involvement
Lead and coordinate on ASC involvement for RMBC through the implementation of the Involvement framework
Facilitate and develop engagement with new and existing peer support groups relevant to Adult Social Care. Attend meetings and events and provide support to these groups to help encourage meaningful involvement.
Support people with lived experience to become involved in decision making and the scrutiny of services through attendance at involvement events
Organising and providing training on issues relating to involvement and co production for both internal staff and external partners as and when required.
Lead on, coordinate and organise involvement and consultation events.
Promote and champion involvement at all times, learning and adopting good practice such as Tpas. Attend conferences, training, meetings and consultation as required including evening and weekend events.
Working closely with the communications and marketing team to develop and improve ASC Involvement communication using diverse methods such as marketing campaigns, online opportunities and newsletters/e bulletins.
Be responsible for facilitating and arranging access to involvement opportunities and developing alternative ways in which to involve residents, particularly for those harder to reach groups.

Shortlisting will be based on the criteria listed below:

Significant experience of managing people and/or volunteers
Significant experience of coordinating events and activities
A working knowledge of Adult Social Care, its peers and partners alongside an understanding of how they work together to support people in receipt of services
Excellent communication skills in all formats, with experience of working with people with differing communication needs
Significant experience of working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and communities
Experience of engaging with people and communities in order to capture customer voice
