Summary
The key duties and responsibilities are: General responsibilities including participation in Consultant on call rota Specialist Clinics Outpatient clinics Operating: as per specialty Teaching Other care of inpatients or outpatients Clinical and other administration as required by agreement Teaching and training of junior staff and undergraduates Participation in Clinical Governance It is envisaged that the successful appointee will work with the existing 6 full time gastroenterologists on GI Triage 1: 7 weekend for triage, the GI ward and provide a 1 in 7 on-call GI bleeding rota caring for all gastroenterology in-patients with no GIM on call.
