Summary

Provide visible, inspiring leadership across all clinical hospice teams to embed effective clinical governance practices and a culture of excellence. Lead the development and delivery of the Patient Services Strategy, encompassing governance, quality, compliance, and patient safety. Oversee the implementation and monitoring of the CQC improvement plan, maintaining robust evidence and identifying/reporting compliance gaps. Conduct organisation-wide governance reviews in collaboration with the Quality Lead, ensuring ongoing quality improvement and assurance. Support team leaders in developing and maintaining strong clinical assurance frameworks and promoting governance in everyday practice. Chair regular governance meetings with clinical and multi-professional teams to drive service improvement, communication, and learning. Ensure quality of care is continuously improved through critical reflection, learning, and collaboration with the Matron, Clinical Leads, and Quality Lead.
