We are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor looking to appoint a Construction Manager to oversee a flagship laboratory and teaching facility project in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a technically demanding build from early stages to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are met


  • Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with design and specification


  • Coordinate closely with the M&E teams, particularly on electrical works


  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery


  • Lead progress meetings, reporting back on timelines, issues, and resource needs


    Key Requirements:
    • Proven experience as a Construction Manager on projects with significant electrical packages


    • Tier 1 or main contractor experience preferred


    • Strong understanding of laboratory, educational, or other high-spec building environments


    • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified


    • Ability to lead on both quality and programme
