Summary

The role of Housing Options Team Leader sits within Housing Services at Darlington Borough Council and is responsible for managing day to day operations for the local authority statutory homelessness function, Housing Options and the Choice Based Lettings Service.



The role overses a dedicated team dealing with complex and vulnerable clients who are homeless or at risk of, providing advice, support and assistance.andnbsp;



The successful applicant will need approximatley 5 years experience working in a housing environment. Expereience of dealing with clients that are vulnerable and homeless or at risk of. Knowledge of Housing legislationa and expereience of interpreting legilslation, policies and procedures.andnbsp;



Experience of managing staff would be beneficial and you must be capable of independent travelandnbsp;to carry out the requirements of the post.



**The post is part time working 15 hours per week on a Thursday and Friday**
