Summary
- To work with and under the direction of the Senior Pastor as a member of the pastoral team to enable the church to focus on the Great Commission and to equip the church to carry out the five functions of the New Testament church: evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship and worship.
- To lead, preach and teach the word of God.
- To be able to travel within the UK and outside the UK for evangelism and propagation of the gospel.
- The ability to lead worship in all kinds of Christian services such as main services, burial services, naming ceremonies, ordinations, etc.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 2 years' previous experience in pastoral knowledge, church outreach and music directing/Bible teaching. The church needs someone to lead our Worship and must be born again and spirit filled.
- The ability to lead the music group and preach the word of God and deliver sermons.
- Organize and direct musical performances for church services.
- Must be able to lead the congregation in YORUBA hymns.
- Proven experience as a Bible teacher / music director or in a similar role.
- Must have a Bachelor Degree in the job role or equivalent.
- Willing to travel on mission within and outside the UK.
- Under employer equality (Religious and Beliefs) Regulations 2003 Section 7, this post has a genuine occupational requirement to be a Christian.
- You will also be required to undergo DBS check for this post.
