Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of building work to ensure compliance with building regulations.
Review and assess building plans to determine adherence to code requirements.
Advise architects, builders, and clients on regulatory compliance issues and best practices.
Prepare detailed reports documenting inspections, findings, and recommendations.
Liaise with stakeholders, including local authorities and clients, to resolve any compliance-related queries.
Stay updated with current building regulations, codes, and industry practices.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures to enhance compliance processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Relevant professional qualification, such as RICS or equivalent registration.
Proven experience in building control, surveying, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of building regulations, construction practices, and safety standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess compliance issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £42.50
