Summary
All general yard duties :
Mucking out/ keeping yard tidy
Grooming / Tacking up
Filling haynets / water buckets
Feeding
Riding / lessons available for the right candidate
Classical in hand work/ Clicker training
Training
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Qualifications required
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
Call Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English
Skills required
Some basic equine experience
Prospects
Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom and or full time employment .SVG are committed to the professional and personal development of their staff.
Qualification / Standard : ST0166 Equine groom
Duration 15 Months
