Summary

HGV Class 1 Drivers - Night Shifts
Location: Burton-on-Trent (DE14)
Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday (Days): £16.87/hr

  • Monday to Friday (Nights): £18.10/hr

  • Saturday: £21.09/hr

  • Sunday: £22.63/hr
    Minimum Pay: 9.6 hours per shift guaranteed
    Shifts: Flexible patterns available | Night work | Ongoing & Temp-to-Perm

What the role involves:

  • Trunking to NDCs (no handball)

  • Yard shunting work available

  • Curtain-sided trailer work

  • Coordinating with the transport team before and after shifts

  • Load checks and paperwork completion

  • Liaising with site security and warehouse staff

  • Full compliance with tachograph and working time regulations

  • Pre-assessment drug and alcohol screening required
