The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver to cover company work in both Havant and Hedge End areas.
This will be a customer facing delivery role, working with a drivers mate you will be driving and delivering company products
HGV Class 2 Driver duties include but not limited to:
- Logging vehicle checks to assigned vehicle.
- Respond promptly and professionally.
- Willingness to be flexible as routes vary
- Being able to complete and send off different checks involved in the working day
- Previous work referencing preferred but not essential
HGV Class 2 Driver required to have:
- Good knowledge of Drivers Hours Legislation.
- DVLA Category C HGV entitlement.
- Digital Tachograph and CPC Card
- Cat C HGV Licence
- HIAB licence- preferred but not essential
Days and Hours of work: Ad hoc work but would be within Monday to Sunday, hours of work shifts starting at 7am.
Pay Rates (PAYE):
- Monday to Friday -15.50 per hour for Class 2 and £17.50 if held a HIAB licence
- Saturday at time and half
- Sunday and Bank Holiday at Double time.
