Summary
The Best Connection are currently seeking Assembly Operatives for our client in Mansfield who are one of the worldwide market leaders of their products in the Military/Civil Aerospace Industry!
This is a temporary to permanent role, for a growing interconnect business, where the opportunities to progress are endless!
Role & responsibilities:
- Assembling aerospace products and parts from drawings. You will be in a role that requires you to assemble small intricate parts and components, feeding wires into connectors, requiring exceptional dexterity and attention to detail.
- Following listed instructions/measurements carefully
- Working in a seated, designated area to complete orders and follow targets
- Usage of magnification and specialised tools to complete orders, ensuring quality and performance standards are achieved.
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday, 0730 -1600 (30 min unpaid break daily)
- Once trained, you may have the option to condense your hours down, for example, to enable an early finish on a Friday
Pay rate:
- £12.78 per hour
- Time and a half paid after 40 hours worked
The client are looking for candidates with a background within a similar role i.e. nail art, painting/drawing by numbers, building of model figures, computer/phone dismantling, sewing machine skills, etc. as well as the below skills:
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Have a great attitude and work ethic
- Great level of English reading
You will be required to attend your 1st interview in TBC Mansfield branch, where you shall complete a bespoke application form for the client.
