Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Tutor to support a Year 9 student based in Grantham (NG31)
- Subjects: Maths and English
- Hours: 10 hours per week
- Location: In-home tuition (with adults present)
The student has been out of formal education for an extended period and currently demonstrates low engagement, though responds positively to 1:1 tailored support. We are looking for a tutor who is patient, understanding, and confident in re-engaging learners with complex needs.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEN or SEMH needs
- Ability to build rapport and deliver creative, engaging sessions
- Flexible and reliable, with strong communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (on the update service) and relevant safeguarding knowledge
- Required to provide references covering the last 2 years of employment
